समस्तं खल्विदं ब्रह्म सर्वमात्मेदमाततम् अहमन्य इदं चान्यदिति भ्रान्तिं त्यजानघ

The verse repeats the saying of the Chāndogya already cited at 4.118: sarvaṃ khalv idaṃ brahma.
And it names the delusion outright: aham anyaḥ idaṃ ca anyat — “I am other, and this is other”.
Note the phrase's construction. What is rejected is neither “I am” nor “this is”, but precisely anya — “other, alien”.
This is the very point made at 4.78 and 5.44: what is cancelled is estrangement, not difference.
Between the hand and the body there is difference; there is no estrangement. Between son and father there is difference; there is no estrangement.
Vaiṣṇava Vedānta stands on this, and therefore reads such verses literally, without softening: all is He, and nothing is alien to Him.
The address anagha — “sinless” — repeats 6.1; the chapter is fond of this word.
