तते ब्रह्मघने नित्ये संभवन्ति न कल्पिताः न शोकोऽस्ति न मोहोऽस्ति न जरास्ति न जन्म वा

“In the outspread, solid, eternal Brahman the contrived things do not arise: there is no grief, no delusion, no old age, no birth.”

Four negations, and they cover everything a man fears.
Śoka — grief. Moha — delusion. Jarā — old age. Janma — birth.
Note that birth is set in one row with old age and grief — that is, as a calamity. To one who clings to life this sounds strange; for these books birth is the beginning of all woes.
The word kalpitāḥ — “contrived”. All four are named contrivances, and therefore in Brahman they are not: there, there is nothing to contrive with.
Brahma-ghana — “solid Brahman”. The word ghana, “dense, thick”, in this book usually meant condensation downward (5.126, 5.179). Here it is applied to Him — and means wholeness without hollows.
One and the same word, and the direction reversed.
