तेषां कामं भगवान् उग्रधन्वा; प्रादाद् इष्टं सन्निसर्गाद् यथोक्तम् ॥
तां चाप्य् एषां योषितं लोककान्तां; श्रियं भार्यां व्यदधान् मानुषेषु ॥
तैर् एव सार्धं तु ततः स देवो; जगाम नारायणम् अप्रमेयम् ॥
स चापि तद् व्यदधात् सर्वम् एव; ततः सर्वे संबभूवुर् धरण्याम् ॥

teṣāṃ kāmaṃ bhagavān ugradhanvā; prādād iṣṭaṃ sannisargād yathoktam ||
tāṃ cāpy eṣāṃ yoṣitaṃ lokakāntāṃ; śriyaṃ bhāryāṃ vyadadhān mānuṣeṣu ||
tair eva sārdhaṃ tu tataḥ sa devo; jagāma nārāyaṇam aprameyam ||
sa cāpi tad vyadadhāt sarvam eva; tataḥ sarve saṃbabhūvur dharaṇyām ||

Translation

'Shiva granted them the desired boon, as he had said; and that wife of theirs, desired by all the worlds, Shri, he made their wife among men. Then, together with them, that god went to the immeasurable Narayana, and he arranged all of it; then all of them were born on earth.'
