देवो नारायणस् तस्यां तथा देवर्षयश् च ये ॥
ऋषयो वालखिल्याश् च योनिजायोनिजास् तथा ॥
यच् च किं चित् त्रिलोके ऽस्मिन् दृश्यते स्थाणुजङ्गमम् ॥
सर्वं तस्यां मया दृष्टं तद् विद्धि मनुजाधिप ॥

devo nārāyaṇas tasyāṃ tathā devarṣayaś ca ye ||
ṛṣayo vālakhilyāś ca yonijāyonijās tathā ||
yac ca kiṃ cit triloke 'smin dṛśyate sthāṇujaṅgamam ||
sarvaṃ tasyāṃ mayā dṛṣṭaṃ tad viddhi manujādhipa ||

Translation
"The god Narayana is within it, and all the devarshis, sages and Valakhilyas, born of the womb and not born of the womb; and whatever there is in these three worlds, visible, immovable and moving — all this I have seen within it, know this, O lord of men."

Here is the hidden summit: within the Creator's hall dwells Narayana Himself, the Lord. It is telling that both the Grandsire and all creation are gathered around Narayana, the Source of Brahma himself: the Creator is not the final limit, but God beyond the Creator. Thus the scripture quietly reveals that above all halls and all their keepers stands Vishnu-Narayana; and next come the ascetics who attend the Creator.
