संपूजयेद्विमलादीश्च शक्तीरभ्यर्चयेद्देवमवाहयेच्च । अङ्गव्यूहानिलजाद्यैश्च पूज्यघृष्ट्यादिकैर्लोकपालैस्तदस्त्रैः

अनुवाद
Let him worship the powers — Vimalā and the rest — and, having honoured the Deity, invoke Him together with the limbs, the vyūhas, the son of the Wind and the others, with the honoured ornaments, the guardians of the quarters and His weapons.

The chief word of all worship appears: āvāhana — “invocation”.
This is the act for whose sake all the foregoing was done. The diagram is drawn, the throne arranged, the guards honoured — and now He is called.
Here one should pause. How can the Omnipresent be summoned?
The book gave the answer in the seventh verse of the first Upaniṣad: for the bodiless one a form “is fashioned for the sake of the worshippers' work”. Invocation does not move Him — it establishes that very turning of the face of which the third verse of the fourth Upaniṣad spoke: “as one called by name turns round”.
He is invoked not alone. It is listed with whom: with the aṅgas, with the vyūhas, with Hanumān — anila-ja, “born of the wind” — with the guardians of the quarters, with the weapons.
That is, the whole diagram is called entire — everything that was charted over the circles in the previous Upaniṣad.
Vimalā and the rest are the nine powers surrounding Viṣṇu's throne in the Pāñcarātra; their names mean purity, knowledge, action, joy.
