ओं यो ह वै श्रीरामचन्द्रः स भगवान् यश्च महादेवो भूर्भुवः सुवस्तस्मै वै नमो नमः

अनुवाद
Oṁ. He who is Śrī-Rāmacandra — He is the Lord, and He is he who is Mahādeva. Earth, mid-air, heaven! To him be bow upon bow.

The forty-third mantra names Him Mahādeva — “the Great God”.
This is the third name of Śiva in a row, counting the fifth mantra and the forty-second; and the repetition is not accidental.
Recall what was in the third chapter of the uttara. There Śiva repeated Rāma's name in Kāśī for thousands of manvantaras; there Rāma called him parameśvara — “the Highest Lord”; there Śiva asked a boon not for himself; and there he was charged to whisper the mantra to every dying person.
The Vaiṣṇava tradition has always pointed to these places in explaining the relation between the two. It is neither rivalry nor a servant's subjection: it is a closeness for which the book finds no other expression than identification.
He calls Śiva the Highest Lord; the doxology calls Him Mahādeva.
Note that the speaker is Brahmā — the third of the three. And in his mouth both the others are named.
