अनाख्यत्वादगम्यत्वान्मनःषष्ठेन्द्रियस्थितेः चिन्मात्रमेवमात्माणुराकाशादपि सूक्ष्मकः

अनुवाद
Because it is unnameable, unreachable and lies beyond the six senses with the mind, the Ātman is pure consciousness alone — subtle, finer than space itself.

Now the book expounds what Śuka understood. And it begins with negations.
The Ātman is unnameable (anākhya) — it has no name in the row of things. Unreachable (agamya) — one cannot travel to it as one travels to a place. And it is beyond the six senses: the five outer ones plus the mind, which here too counts as a sense, the sixth.
This is an important detail of Sāṅkhya and Vedānta: the mind is not the knower; the mind is an instrument. It is a tool like the eye.
Hence the conclusion: since the Ātman is grasped by no instrument, it is not a thing among things. It is cin-mātra — “consciousness only”, without admixture of anything else.
And the verse's last word: finer than space. Space we are used to counting the most rarefied thing there is. Consciousness is finer.
