असंवेदनमाशान्तमात्मवेदनमाततम् सत्ता सर्वपदार्थानां नान्या संवेदनादृते

“Non-cognition, fully stilled — and it is the outspread cognition of the Ātman; the being of all things is no other than cognition.”

The verse builds an equation between what seems opposite.
Asaṃvedana — “non-cognition”: there is no knowing of objects there, for there are no objects.
Ātma-vedana — “the cognition of the Ātman”: and yet the awareness of oneself does not go out, but is ātata — “outspread, stretched” over everything.
One and the same. To cognize nothing and to be aware of oneself coincide here.
The second half draws a conclusion important for all Vedānta: sattā sarva-padārthānāṃ nānyā saṃvedanād ṛte — “the being of things is no other than cognition”.
That is, to be and to be cognized are one.
Here a proviso is needed, or it will come out that the world exists by my consciousness. The speech is not of mine. Recall 4.49: the world is woven of mind, but not of mine — of His. Things exist because He knows them, not because I do.
