चित्तमेव हि संसारो रोगादिक्लेशदूषितम् तदेव तैर्विनिर्मुक्तं भवान्त इति कथ्यते

“For the mind, spoiled by diseases and afflictions, is itself saṁsāra; and the same mind, released from them, is called the end of becoming.”

The verse gathers the whole inquiry into one equation, and the equation is worth remembering.
The sick mind is saṁsāra.
The healthy mind is its end.
One and the same thing, in two states. Not two different objects and not two realms.
The word dūṣita means “spoiled, fouled”, and beside it stands roga — “disease”. This returns to 3.21, where the mind was called cikitsya, “to be treated”.
The conclusion is important and consoling: what one must be rid of is neither something external nor oneself. The round is not a place you have landed in; it is a state you are in.
Hence bhava-anta, “the end of becoming”, is no departure to anywhere. It is recovery.
