देवनागरी
इत्यन्तर्निश्चयं त्यक्त्वा विचार्य मनसा सह नाहं पदार्थस्य न मे पदार्थ इति भाविते

ityantarniścayaṃ tyaktvā vicārya manasā saha nāhaṃ padārthasya na me padārtha iti bhāvite

न अहम् पदार्थस्य न मेna aham padārthasya na me“I am not the thing's, and mine is not; “I belong not to the object, nor is it mine
पदार्थः इति भावितेpadārthaḥ iti bhāvitethe thing” — when this is contemplated; the object” — when this has been nurtured
अनुवाद
“…having left that inner conviction and reasoned together with the mind, when it is contemplated: ‘I am not the thing's, and the thing is not mine’ —”

The answer to the previous verse, and it undoes both sides of the coupling at once.
Nāhaṃ padārthasya — “I do not belong to the thing”. Na me padārthaḥ — “and the thing is not mine”.
Note that both negations are necessary. To give up ownership is easier: “this is not mine” many can say. Harder is the second — “I am not its”: to stop counting oneself as belonging to one's work, station, name.
Recall 4.71: two words, “mine” and “not mine”, lead to bondage and freedom.
Here the same from both sides.
The word vicārya — “having reasoned”. The work is again named inquiry, the second gatekeeper.
