रूपं महत्ते बहुवक्त्रनेत्रं
महाबाहो बहुबाहूरुपादम् ।
बाहूदरं बहुदंष्ट्राकरालं
दृष्ट्वा लोकाः प्रव्यथितास्तथाहम् ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
rūpaṁ mahat te bahu-vaktra-netraṁ
mahā-bāho bahu-bāhūru-pādam |
bahūdaraṁ bahu-daṁṣṭrā-karālaṁ
dṛṣṭvā lokāḥ pravyathitās tathāham ||

दृष्ट्वाdṛṣṭvāseeing.
लोकाःlokāḥthe worlds, all living beings.
प्रव्यथिताःpravyathitāḥare stricken with great terror, tremble.
तथा अहम्tathā ahamand so do I.
Translation
“O mighty-armed one, seeing Your great form with its countless faces, eyes, arms, thighs, feet, bellies, and terrible fangs, all the worlds tremble in great fear, and so do I!”
