कस्माच्च ते न नमेरन्महात्मन्
गरीयसे ब्रह्मणोऽप्यादिकर्त्रे ।
अनन्त देवेश जगन्निवास
त्वमक्षरं सदसत्तत्परं यत् ॥

kasmāc ca te na nameran mahātman
garīyase brahmaṇo 'py ādi-kartre |
ananta deveśa jagan-nivāsa
tvam akṣaraṁ sad-asat tat paraṁ yat ||

त्वम् अक्षरम्tvam akṣaramYou — the imperishable.
सत्-असत्sat-asatboth cause and effect; both spirit and matter.
तत् परम् यत्tat param yatand that which is beyond them both.
Translation
“O Great Soul, why should they not bow to You? For You are the primeval creator, greater even than Brahmā himself! O Boundless one, O Lord of the gods, O Refuge of the universe! You are the imperishable Akṣara; You are both the cause (sat) and the effect (asat), and that which lies beyond them both.”
