अथ यः इच्छेत् पुत्रो मे श्यामः लोहिताक्षः जायेत त्रीन् वेदान् अनुब्रुवीत सर्वम् आयुः इयात् इति उदौदनं पाचयित्वा सर्पिष्मन्तम् अश्नीयाताम् ईश्वरौ जनयितवै

atha yaḥ icchet putro me śyāmaḥ lohitākṣaḥ jāyeta trīn vedān anubruvīta sarvam āyuḥ iyāt iti udaudanaṃ pācayitvā sarpiṣmantam aśnīyātām īśvarau janayitavai

Translation

He who wishes "may a dark son with red eyes be born to me, one who will learn three Vedas and live out his full span" — let the two of them, having cooked rice in water with butter, eat it: they will be able to beget.
