द्वावेतौ ब्रह्मतां यातौ द्वावेतौ विगतज्वरौ आपतत्सु यथाकालं सुखदुःखेष्वनारतौ संन्यासियोगिनौ दान्तौ विद्धि शान्तौ मुनीश्वर

द्वौ एतौ विगत-ज्वरौdvau etau vigata-jvarauthese two are rid of the fever; both of these are free of the burning
आपतत्सु यथा-कालम्āpatatsu yathā-kālamat what befalls in its season; at what arrives in its appointed time
सुख-दुःखेषु अनारतौsukha-duḥkheṣu anāratauin joys and sorrows, unceasingly; amid delights and sufferings, without pause
संन्यासि-योगिनौ दान्तौsaṃnyāsi-yoginau dāntauthe renunciant and the yogin, restrained; the sannyāsī and the yogī, self-mastered
विद्धि शान्तौ मुनि-ईश्वरviddhi śāntau muni-īśvaraknow them as stilled, O lord of sages; understand them as pacified, O master of the silent
译文

“Both of these have come to Brahman, both are free of the fever amid joys and sorrows that befall each in its season: know, O lord of sages, that the renunciant and the yogin are restrained and stilled.”
