Traducción
This is the udgītha that is higher-and-ever-higher; it is endless. Higher and ever higher becomes [the life] of him, and higher and ever higher are the worlds he conquers, who, knowing this thus, venerates the udgītha as the higher-and-ever-higher.

The fruit of Pravāhaṇa's teaching: sa eṣa parovarīyān udgīthaḥ — "this is the udgītha that is parovarīyān" — a rare word: "surpassing-most-surpassing", "higher and ever higher": a song resting upon the Infinite is itself infinite: sa eṣo 'nantaḥ — "it is boundless": against the finitude of Dālbhya's and Śilaka's sāmans stands ananta — endlessness.
And the fruit matches (the law of upāsanā!): parovarīyo hāsya bhavati — "higher and ever higher becomes his [being]": the life of one who venerates the endless udgītha grows without a ceiling — parovarīyaso ha lokāñ jayati — "and he conquers ever higher worlds": for one who knows the Infinite there is no last rung: his ascent is parovarīya, a comparative without limit. So the khaṇḍa settles the dispute of the three connoisseurs: skill is measured by its support; he who rests upon Space sings a song whose head does not fall off — for it has nowhere to fall.
