यः आत्मा अपहतपाप्मा विजरः विमृत्युः विशोकः विजिघत्सः अपिपासः सत्यकामः सत्यसंकल्पः सः अन्वेष्टव्यः सः विजिज्ञासितव्यः सः सर्वांश् च लोकान् आप्नोति सर्वांश् च कामान् यः तम् आत्मानम् अनुविद्य विजानाति इति ह प्रजापतिः उवाच

yaḥ ātmā apahatapāpmā vijaraḥ vimṛtyuḥ viśokaḥ vijighatsaḥ apipāsaḥ satyakāmaḥ satyasaṃkalpaḥ saḥ anveṣṭavyaḥ saḥ vijijñāsitavyaḥ saḥ sarvāṃś ca lokān āpnoti sarvāṃś ca kāmān yaḥ tam ātmānam anuvidya vijānāti iti ha prajāpatiḥ uvāca

Traducción

"The ātman, free from evil, ageless, deathless, sorrowless, hungerless, thirstless, whose desires are true, whose resolves are true — he should be sought, he should be striven after in knowledge. He obtains all the worlds and all desires who, having found this ātman, knows him" — so said Prajāpati.
