कच्चिद् अस्त्राणि सर्वाणि ब्रह्मदण्डश् च ते ऽनघ ॥
विषयोगाश् च ते सर्वे विदिताः शत्रुनाशनाः ॥
कच्चिद् अग्निभयाच् चैव सर्पव्यालभयात् तथा ॥
रोगरक्षोभयाच् चैव राष्ट्रं स्वं परिरक्षसि ॥
कच्चिद् अन्धांश् च मूकांश् च पङ्गून् व्यङ्गान् अबान्धवान् ॥
पितेव पासि धर्मज्ञ तथा प्रव्रजितान् अपि ॥

kaccid astrāṇi sarvāṇi brahmadaṇḍaś ca te 'nagha ||
viṣayogāś ca te sarve viditāḥ śatrunāśanāḥ ||
kaccid agnibhayāc caiva sarpavyālabhayāt tathā ||
rogarakṣobhayāc caiva rāṣṭraṃ svaṃ parirakṣasi ||
kaccid andhāṃś ca mūkāṃś ca paṅgūn vyaṅgān abāndhavān ||
piteva pāsi dharmajña tathā pravrajitān api ||

Translation

"I hope all kinds of weapons, and the 'rod of Brahma', and all poison-compounds that destroy enemies, are known to you, O flawless one? I hope you protect your kingdom from the fear of fire, from snakes and beasts of prey, from disease and rakshasas? I hope you nourish the blind, the mute, the lame, the maimed and those without kin as a father would, O knower of dharma, and likewise the wandering ascetics?"
