ते ह इमे प्राणा अहंश्रेयसे विवदमाना ब्रह्म जग्मुः तद् ह ऊचुः को नो वसिष्ठ इति तद् ह उवाच यस्मिन् व उत्क्रान्त इदम् शरीरं पापियो मन्यते स वो वसिष्ठ इति

These vital powers, disputing about who was best, went to Brahman and asked: "Which of us is the richest?" He said: "He of you is the richest at whose going out this body becomes the worst off."
