The oblations of the mantha follow the list of the first brāhmaṇa: eldest-and-best (prāṇa), the richest (speech), the support (the eye), attainment (hearing), the dwelling (the mind), procreation (the seed) — all the titles of the powers' dispute have become the addresses of oblations! The vidyā has turned into a liturgy: what you have learned is what you pour to.
And every remainder goes into the cup: saṁsravam avanayati: the blessings of the six powers flow down into one drink. The draught of greatness is mixed on the whole anthropology of the book: the drinker will take in the concord of his powers — the very concord for whose sake they ended their dispute.
