सः होवाच गार्ग्यः यः एव अयम् दिक्षु पुरुषः एतम् एव अहम् ब्रह्म उपास इति सः होवाच अजातशत्रुः मा म एतस्मिन् संवदिष्ठाः द्वितीयः अनपगः इति वै अहम् एतम् उपास इति सः यः एतम् एवम् उपास्ते द्वितीयवान् ह भवति न अस्मात् गणः छिद्यते

अनुवाद

Gārgya said: "The person who is in the quarters of the sky — him I venerate as Brahman." Ajātaśatru said: "Do not speak to me of him! I venerate him as the Second who never departs." He who venerates him thus gains a second, and his company is not cut off from him.
