पुरुषः वा अग्निः गौतम तस्य व्यात्तम् एव समित् प्राणः धूमः वाक् अर्चिः चक्षुः अङ्गाराः श्रोत्रं विष्फुलिङ्गाः तस्मिन् एतस्मिन् अग्नौ देवाः अन्नम् जुह्वति तस्याः आहुत्यै रेतः संभवति

अनुवाद

Man, Gautama, is a fire: the open mouth is its fuel, the breath its smoke, speech its flame, the eye its coals, the ear its sparks. Into this fire the gods offer food; out of this oblation seed is born.
