The image of the meeting-place-oceans returns (2.4.11): thirteen seas of the human being into which all the rivers of experience run. Multiplicity has already been gathered by nature into estuaries — one step remains: to see the Ocean of these oceans.
In the farewell conversation the inventory sounds like a list of the house being left behind: here are your seas, Maitreyī — touches and tastes, works and roads; and they all converge, as you and I do, in Him to whom I am going and in whom there will be no parting.
