अनुवाद

"Prāṇa, apāna, vyāna" — eight syllables; and one foot of the gāyatrī has eight syllables: this is that foot of hers. He who knows this foot of hers conquers as much as there is that breathes. And her fourth, visible (darśata) foot is above the dust (parorajas): the one who burns [the sun]. The fourth is called turīya; "visible foot", because he is as it were visible; "above the dust", because he burns above all dust. So does he burn with beauty and glory who knows this foot of hers.
