यजुः प्राणः वै यजुः प्राणे हि इमानि सर्वाणि भूतानि युज्यन्ते युज्यन्ते ह अस्मै सर्वाणि भूतानि श्रैष्ठ्याय यजुषः सायुज्यं सलोकतां जयति यः एवम् वेद

अनुवाद
The yajus is the breath: for in the breath all these beings are joined (yujyante). For one who knows this all beings are joined, [setting him] at their head; he who knows this wins union with the yajus and its world.

The second vidyā: the yajus, the sacrificial formula, is prāṇa, for in the breath all beings are "joined" (√yuj): life is the universal harness that binds the living into one (we saw prāṇa as the thread, the sūtra of the worlds — 3.7.2).
And the fruit is after the image: for the knower "all beings are joined for his pre-eminence" — the joiner becomes the head of the joined: to one who has understood the bonds of life, they serve as a crown and not as fetters.
