This wind is the honey of all beings, and all beings are the honey of this wind. And the shining immortal person who is in the wind, and the shining immortal person who is in the body as breath — that is this ātman. This is the immortal, this is Brahman, this is all.

The fourth wave is wind and breath: the pair that clamps the whole Veda together (Vāyu the never-setting deity, prāṇa the unwearying power, 1.5.21–22). The wind is the world's breathing, the breath is the body's wind; they are sweet to each other quite literally: every inbreath is a draught of the world's wind, every outbreath a contribution to it.
The honey is especially palpable here: the life of all that breathes is an unbroken kiss of the air and the breast. And in this nearest of nearnesses there is the same Puruṣa on both sides: He is breathed in, and He breathes; "I am the life of all that lives" (cf. BG 7.9).
