अथ यः एतत् एवम् विद्वान् साम गायति उभौ सः गायति सः अमुना एव सः एषः ये च अमुष्मात् पराञ्चः लोकाः तांश् च आप्नोति देवकामांश् च

Translation
Now he who, knowing this thus, sings the sāman sings to both. Through that one he attains both the worlds that are beyond the sun and the desires of the gods;

The fruit of the double knowledge: atha ya etad evaṁ vidvān sāma gāyati ubhau sa gāyati — "he who knows thus sings to both": with a single chanting, to two thrones — to the Puruṣa in the sun and the Puruṣa in the eye; and since both are One, the song sounds along the whole vertical at once.
so 'munaiva — "through that one [the solar]" — he attains the worlds beyond and the aims of the gods: the knower's singing is a letter with two addresses, and it arrives "there" too: past the sun, to the desires of the gods. An ignorant singer sings into a room; a knowing one into both worlds: knowledge does not change the notes — it changes the range.
