सः यः एतम् एवम् विद्वान् उपास्ते अपहते पापकृत्याम् लोकी भवति सर्वम् आयुस् एति ज्योक् जीवति न अस्य अवरपुरुषाः क्षीयन्ते उप वयम् तम् भुञ्जामः अस्मिन् च लोके अमुष्मिन् च यः एतम् एवम् विद्वान् उपास्ते

Translation
He who, knowing this, venerates him puts away evil deeds, gains a world, attains the full span, lives long; his line does not fail. We sustain him in this world and in that — him who, knowing this, venerates him.

The third seal, from the fire of oblations. Now the testimony is complete: all three fires, each on its own tier of the world — earthly, lunar and heavenly — have vouched for their servant in one and the same words. A threefold repetition in Vedic speech is the mark of what cannot be revoked.
Yet at the very summit of these promises the fires will stop themselves: in the next verse they will confess that they have given the pupil only "our knowledge and the knowledge of the ātman", and that the path will be shown by his teacher. The most generous gifts of the universe are honest about their limit — and that is what makes them precious.
