अथ यः अस्य उदङ् सुषिः सः समानः तत् मनः सः पर्जन्यः तत् एतत् कीर्तिः च व्युष्टिः च इति उपासीत कीर्तिमान् व्युष्टिमान् भवति यः एवम् वेद

atha yaḥ asya udaṅ suṣiḥ saḥ samānaḥ tat manaḥ saḥ parjanyaḥ tat etat kīrtiḥ ca vyuṣṭiḥ ca iti upāsīta kīrtimān vyuṣṭimān bhavati yaḥ evam veda

Translation

Its northern gate is the samāna; that is the mind, that is Parjanya. One should venerate it as "fame and flowering". Famous and flourishing becomes he who knows thus.
