स्वागतं सर्वथा दिष्ट्या पाण्डोः पश्याम संततिम् ।
उच्यतां स्वागतम् इति वाचो ऽश्रूयन्त सर्वशः ॥

Those pure in heart greet the Pandavas with joy, calling their arrival good fortune (diṣṭyā). The appearance of the Lord's devotees is a blessing for everyone: the saintly and virtuous rejoice, while the envious will in time turn against them. To welcome the Lord's devotees is itself good fortune and merit, for dharma enters the house together with them.
