Even hidden beneath the waters, Duryodhana cannot escape: the Pandavas, together with Krishna Himself, find him and call him out to battle. From the Lord's justice there is nowhere to hide -- not in the depths of the waters, nor anywhere else: He is all-knowing and all-pervading. Krishna's presence beside the Pandavas signals that His will is being carried out. Thus is overtaken the one who persisted to the end in enmity with dharma and with the Lord's devotees.
