Even Drona, the peerless master of warfare, cannot slay the foremost Pandavas for all his skill. A strength greater than any weapon shields the devoted — the protection of the Lord. No skill and no might can overcome one whom Krishna guards. The invulnerability of the Pandavas before the mightiest warriors is thus a visible sign that the Lord stands on their side.
