नारदो ऽश्रावयद् देवान् असितो देवलः पितॄन् ।
गन्धर्वयक्षरक्षांसि श्रावयाम् आस वै शुकः ॥

The narrative spreads through all the worlds: Narada carries it to the gods, Asita Devala to the ancestors, and Shukadeva to the gandharvas, yakshas, and rakshasas. Hari-katha is not meant for humans alone: it is for all living beings, in every world. Great sage-devotees carry the Lord's glory throughout the whole universe, for there is no corner of creation that would not benefit from hearing of the Supreme. Here lies the breadth of His mercy: the narrative of the Lord is open to everyone ready to listen.
