अथ यः एषः अन्तर् अक्षिणि पुरुषः दृश्यते सः एव ऋक् तत् साम तत् उक्थम् तत् यजुः तत् ब्रह्म तस्य एतस्य तत् एव रूपं यत् अमुष्य रूपं याव् अमुष्य गेष्णौ तौ तौ गोष्णौ यत् नाम तत् नाम

अनुवाद
Now that Puruṣa who is seen within the eye — he is the ṛc, he is the sāman, he is the uktha, he is the yajus, he is Brahman. His form is that very form which is the other's; the other's two songs are his two songs; the other's name is his name.

The seventh khaṇḍa's culmination: atha ya eṣo 'ntar akṣiṇi puruṣo dṛśyate — "now that Puruṣa who is seen within the eye": in the pupil of the beholder, again, Someone: sa eva ṛk tat sāma tad ukthaṁ tad yajus tad brahma — "he is the ṛc, the sāman, the uktha, the yajus, Brahman": all the sacred words are his names.
And then a threefold identification, clause by clause: tasyaitasya tad eva rūpaṁ yad amuṣya rūpam — "this one's form is the very form of that one": yāv amuṣya geṣṇau tau geṣṇau yan nāma tan nāma — "his songs are the same songs, his name the same name": the Puruṣa in the eye and the Puruṣa in the sun are ONE. This is one of the pivotal recognitions of the whole Chāndogya (it will be repeated at 4.15 and unfolded in the eighth adhyāya): He who is in the highest luminary is He who is in the depth of the beholding eye: the Lord is not divided by distance: within me looks the One who shines there (Gītā 13.17: "the Light of lights, he abides in the heart of each").
