ते एतत् एव रूपम् अभिसंविशन्ति एतस्मात् रूपात् उद्यन्ति

The refrain of communion, now of the Rudras and the white appearance: an entering into the whiteness, a rising out of the whiteness.
The repetition of the formula after each host builds the adhyāya's liturgical rhythm: five immersions, five risings: as in a great rite the same litany returns after every offering. These repetitions should be read as music: not "the same thing again" but the same beat on a new rung of the concord.
