सः यावत् आदित्यः पुरस्तात् उदेता पश्चात् अस्तम् एता द्विः तावत् दक्षिणतः उदेता उत्तरतः अस्तम् एता रुद्राणाम् एव तावत् आधिपत्यम् स्वाराज्यम् पर्येता

अनुवाद
As long as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west — twice as long does it rise in the south and set in the north, and so long does his overlordship and self-rule with the Rudras extend.

The measure of the second communion — and the first shifting of the cosmos: the sun will rise dakṣiṇataḥ — "in the south" — and set in the north: for twice as long as our present world-day: the epoch of the Rudras is another sky, in which the luminary travels crosswise to ours!
With every nectar the universe unfolds: the quarters of sunrise change round the circle (east → south → west → north → zenith), and the terms double: the ladder of honey leads through aeons ever more spacious and unfamiliar. The Upaniṣad accustoms us to this: the familiar east is only the first page of the sky; those who know the honey have a calendar running five universes ahead.
