These very yajuses brooded upon this Yajur-veda; from it, so brooded upon, its sap was born: glory, splendour, power of the senses, might, and food.

The southern bees are at the same labour: the yajuses brood upon the Yajur-veda, and out of it, so brooded upon, the same fivefold sap is pressed: glory, splendour, power of the senses, might, food.
The constancy of the sap's formula amid the change of corpus is a sermon in itself: every branch of revelation, cultivated by warmth, yields one and the same living sweetness: it is not that "glory belongs to hymns and might to formulas" — all of it belongs to each. The fullness of the honey is not divided among the Vedas; it is repeated whole in every one. That is why traditions do not quarrel over the "best corpus": bees from different flowers bring their loads to one hive.
