译文

This person has two states: this one and the state of the other world; and a third, the joining state, the state of dream. Standing in the joining state, he sees both — this and the state of the other world. And by whatever approach he comes to the state of the other world, going by that approach he sees both: the evils and the joys. When he falls asleep, he takes the material of this all-containing world, himself pulls it down and himself builds it up, and dreams by his own brightness, by his own light. Here this person is his own light.
