Heavenly signs attend the entry of the Pandavas: a shower of flowers, fragrances, the sound of conches and kettledrums, the rejoicing of unseen beings — gods and sages. Nature and the higher beings exult at the appearance of the Lord's devotees, just as they welcome the Lord's own descent. When souls dear to Hari appear, the whole world answers with joy — a reflection of their transcendent standing. So it is already shown here: the Pandavas are not mere princes, but chosen ones whose arrival the very heavens bless.
