Having conquered all kings and all the great hosts, Arjuna brought for King Yudhishthira everything needed for the Rajasuya, the great sacrifice.

Arjuna subdues all kings not for his own ambition, but so that Yudhishthira might perform the Rajasuya. Here conquest serves sacrifice, and sacrifice is crowned by worship — for at the Rajasuya it is Krishna Himself who will be honored first. Thus the devotee's valor is directed not toward self-glorification but toward dharma, and ultimately toward the glorification of the Lord: every true deed finds its completion in service to Him.
