The briefest of the phala-śrutis, and the most immeasurable: sarvaṁ ha bhavati — "he becomes All": one who knows the song that has stitched everything through becomes everything himself: the borders of "mine" melt where one thread is recognised everywhere.
The logic is exact, not ecstatic: I am cut off from the world only where I fail to hear the common concord; a sāman heard everywhere makes what was another's my own: in everything that burns, rains, grazes and dies, the same fivefoldness sounds as in me (my body is the yajñāyajñīya!). To become All is not to swell up but to recognise kinship: this "all" is a company of fellow-choristers; and a chorister who hears the whole choir embraces it with his hearing — while remaining a single voice.
