Of this there is this verse: "Those triads, taken fivefold — higher than they there is nothing else, nothing more excellent.

A sealing verse: yāni pañcadhā trīṇi trīṇi — "those triads, [taken] fivefold": the five triads of the preceding contemplation (5 × 3 = 15 entities in all) — tebhyo na jyāyaḥ param anyad asti — "higher than they there is nothing else": the list of the twenty-first khaṇḍa is declared exhaustive: everything there is, is in these fifteen; beyond them there is nothing "further".
A formula of completeness matters for upāsanā: the contemplator must know that his object leaves no remainder: the sāman is woven into everything without exception — otherwise "to become All" (verse 2.21.2) would be to become almost-all. The Vedas are fond of such closing seals: the count is finished, the sack is tied: now the knowledge can be carried.
