The circle is closed: where the bull began — "lead us to the teacher's house" — there it ends. All four wondrous instructors, each with his own quarter, sent the youth with one accord not into the forest or into seclusion but to a human ācārya. The revelations of nature do not replace a living succession — they flow into it.
And the first words in the guru's house are the same address and the same response as with the bull, the fire and the birds: "Satyakāma!" — "Bhagavaḥ!" The evenness of that response is the measure of the pupil's heart: he stands before the truth alike, by whatever mouth it speaks.
