समृद्धां तां तथा दृष्ट्वा पाण्डवानां तदा श्रियम् ।
ईर्ष्यासमुत्थः सुमहांस् तस्य मन्युर् अजायत ॥
विमानप्रतिमां चापि मयेन सुकृतां सभाम् ।
पाण्डवानाम् उपहृतां स दृष्ट्वा पर्यतप्यत ॥

samṛddhāṃ tāṃ tathā dṛṣṭvā pāṇḍavānāṃ tadā śriyam |
īrṣyāsamutthaḥ sumahāṃs tasya manyur ajāyata ||
vimānapratimāṃ cāpi mayena sukṛtāṃ sabhām |
pāṇḍavānām upahṛtāṃ sa dṛṣṭvā paryatapyata ||

Translation

Having seen such splendid prosperity of the Pandavas, he was filled with a great wrath born of envy. And having seen the assembly hall resembling a celestial chariot, skillfully built by Maya and presented to the Pandavas, he was tormented by envy.
